This is Jinhee Kim from South Korea.
My life in Donetsk, Ukraine was wonderful!
I have been to many countries, facing vary culture and meeting different people.
But Ukraine was unique and totally different world i ever stayed.
My project was World Without Border.
I was giving presentation about my country:Korea, and lesson of social skills such as time management, leadership, teambuilding and so on.
it was pleasant to spend time with Ukrainian students.
though i couldn't speak russian nor they speak english well, we were happy under the name of AISEC.
I even met student from North Korea during my project at the school.
As the project name tells, my project was giving me the big world without border and barrier of language, culture, and prejudice.
I enjoyed every single day in Ukraine with other interns from different nation.
At first, i was staying with 9 interns from 9 nations. it was so much fun!
i learnt how to accept and understand different point of view while staying together with them.
And LC Donetsk is the best in Ukraine.
I had chance to visit many cities in Ukraine and encountered with many interns and LC members during my internship.
But LC Donetsk is truly the best and my OCP, Yuliya, is really lovely lady.
We were living and treating each other just like family.
i never had homesickness. Instead, i have ukraine homesickness, missing ukrainian friend and time i spent there.
I started to love Ukraine, Turkey, Poland, Indonesia, and all around the world in AISEC.
Because these are the countries where my new family were from.)))))
